What does “Contactor Fault” mean on the C445 motor management relay?

A7: After you send a Start Command to the motor via C445, the device will look for current to flow through the connected measurement module after the “Contactor Fault Delay” setting has expired. This is to tell the user that despite sending a start command, the contactor has not closed which could be a contactor failure. This feature can be enabled or disabled in Power Xpert inControl or the Monitoring User Interface. Navigate to Operation Mode à Advanced (User Interface only) à Contactor Fault Delay.

A value of 0 disables the feature. Any other value enables the feature and acts as the delay time before the fault will occur if no current is seen.
