How do I select a Freedom NEMA open contactor or starter?

NEMA contactors and starters are typically selected based on the horespower or full load amps of the motor they are starting up.  You will also want to make sure you select the correct coil voltage which is the control voltage that is used to tell the contactor/starter to pull in (turning the motor on).  Our Freedom NEMA starters are available with the traditional bi-metallic heater type overload relays (AN16 family) or with the solid state overload relays (AN19 family).  If  you select an AN16 starter, be sure to select a H20 series heater pack to go with it.  These are sold in packs of 3 so you just need one pack per starter.  See below catalog pages for part# selection.
