What are BJ and BJH Circuit Breakers?

What are BJ and BJH Circuit Breakers:

  • BJ and BJH Circuit Breakers are BR-type breakers
  • BJ and BJH are plug-on circuit breakers
  • BJ and BJH Circuit Breakers are rated for 125 Amps up to 225 Amps available in 10kAIC and 22kAIC, 120/240 Vac, 240Vac, and in two-pole and three-pole.

 

Difference between standard BR, BJ, and BJH breakers:

  • Standard BR breakers; 1-pole takes up one space, 2-pole takes up two spaces, and 3-pole takes up three spaces
  • BJ breakers uses four spaces; two 1-inch pole spaces on left side and two 1-inch pole spaces on the right side of the bus of the lodacenter.
  • BJH breakers takes up 6 spaces; uses three 1-inch pole spaces on the left side and three 1-inch pole spaces on the right side of the bus of the loadcenter.
