Bussing material in Mini Power Centers

Previously the 3 phase mini power centers used both silver plated bus and tin plated bus. The A and C phases were tin plated and the B phase was silver plated. The reason they were different is because of the manufacturing process.


The color difference between the two materials is due to the plating process used on those and the process to create them. The copper bus is plated using a silver flash process due to the way it is processed in long lengths.The other connectors are tin plated as they are machined or stamped in smaller pieces.That means that they look a little different but they have the same electrical properties
