What is the blinking light on my Electronic Trip unit?
All Series C and Series G circuit breakers with Electronic Trip units will have a Status light on the trip unit. This light will begin blinking a "heartbeat" once the trip current flow through the breaker reaches approximately 20% of the breaker rating. The Status light will blink once per second between 20-80% of the rating to indicate that the trip unit is powered. Above 80% of the breaker rating, the Status light will be constantly lit to indicate that there is a high load on the breaker.
