What does the green lever do on the smart breaker? Which position should it be in?

Green lever is the lever that controls the secondary set of contacts inside the breaker. When facing towards the middle of the loadcenter, they are ‘ON’ or ‘Closed’. When away from the center of the load center, the contacts are ‘OFF’ or ‘Open’
