What size breaker do I need for the CHSPT2 surge protector?

In addition to installing a CHSPT2ULTRA or CHSPT2SURGE, they will need their own designated 2-pole breaker. The  CHSPT2ULTRA requires a 2-pole 50A breaker while the CHSPT2SURGE uses a 2-pole 15A breaker. The CHSPT2 surge protectors are tested with their designated breakers. The devices, however, will work with any 2-pole branch breaker. Using a surge breaker in addition to the CHSPT2 device is not required. The published data may vary slightly if a different amperage rated breaker is used.
