How can I protect my proximity sensors from impact damage?

Refer to the sensor accessories catalog section for the E57KNZxx series cushioned sensor mounts and the E57KPxx series protective caps.  The cushioned sensor mounts are spring loaded assemblies which allow the entire sensor to retract when pressure is applied to the sensor face.  The protective caps are used with shielded sensors to reduce the impact and thus the risk of cracking the ceramic sensor core.
